Michael Phelps Smoking - After Michael Phelps record setting summer Olympics in Beijing where he eight gold medals, there were many companies knocking at his door wanting him to endorse the products. The two companies that he does endorse are Speedo and Kellogg's. Speedo being the one of the biggest swimming apparel providers in the world and Kellogg's a family oriented cereal company. When the picture of Phelps smoking Marijuana at a college party leaked these two companies happened to be in two very different situations. The decision for Kellogg's to drop him did not come as a surprise to many, but the decision for Speedo to keep him on as a endorser was. Let us first justify why Kellogg's did what it did and dropped his endorsement contract. The Olympics is only every four years, and if this is the only time that people really follow swimming why keep a person on to endorse you when they can't keep a good image and they are really not in the spot light to endorse your product. This is more than likely what Kellogg's had going through their minds when they decided to drop him. Why keep him around, there were more down sides to keeping him on than there were upsides. So in other words it was best to just cut their loses and move on. Now to justify why Speedo kept him is a whole different story. The consumers who buy Speedo products follow swimming outside of when it is on during the Olympics. If Speedo were to drop him there would be a whole slew of companies, that are Speedo's competitors, coming to sign him to a sponsorship deal. While in society he may be considered a deviant, in the swimming society he is still the worlds best known swimmer and the greatest swimmer maybe of all time. It would be like Nike cutting off Tiger Woods for his actions, that would be catastrophic to the sales of the product.

Michael Phelps Megan Rossee - Michael Phelps' new girlfriend revealed, Michael Phelps scored his 18th gold medal in the London Games this weekend, and now he’s scoring on land as well - with model Megan Rossee.
The Olympic sensation, who won his 22nd career medal in the 2012 Olympic Games, has notoriously been quiet about his love life, but he went public with his relationship on the red carpet on Monday.
Rossee, a 25-year-old blond beauty, hasn't been shy about sharing their relationship on Instagram, posting a cuddly picture of herself with Phelps on Sunday with the caption “Yay Michael.”
Rossee has reportedly been quietly seeing the swimming superstar for months, according to Hollyscoop.

“She and Phelps began dating in January (2012) and things started to heat up just prior to the Olympics,” a source told the gosisp site.
But Rossee doesn’t seem to have been trying to keep the relationship a secret - she’s tweeted quite a few candid shots of Phelps over the last month, and posted updates from the Olympic Trials as well which she reportedly accompanied Phelps to.
The 5’9” stunner describes herself on her website as a Los Angeles-based model and actress. “I am super easy going and pretty much down for any type of project (that doesn’t involve nudity),” she wrote on her Model Mayhem profile. “I love what I do and hope to further my career as a model as well as a performer.”

But Rossee hinted her recent lifestyle of accompanying her athlete boyfriend around the world was proving tough to balance with her own career.
“This summer has turned out to be very busy for me, so I am no longer accepting [modeling opportunities] unless hair/makeup or wardrobe are provided, or if the project is something my portfolio is lacking,” she wrote.
Despite his jam-packed schedule, Phelps reportedly got serious about Rossee quickly after they first got involved.
“Michael knew that he had to leave for the Olympics and not wanting to give up on their relationship, he flew Megan out to the trials in Omaha and then to London for the Games,” Hollyscoop quoted the source as saying.
As for Rossee, while she had no hesitation in showing off her affection for her man, she seems in no rush to take it further just yet.
Posting a picture of herself pushing a baby carriage on Instagram in June. “Haha,” she joked. “Maaaybe 5-10 years down the road.”

Tom Daley was born in Plymouth on 21 May 1994.

At just 14 years and 81 days old at the start of the Beijing Olympics, Tom Daley is Britain's second youngest male ever to enter the Olympics, only beaten by Kenneth Lester, a cox at the 1960 Olympics, who was aged 13 years and 144 days.

Tom Daley qualified for the Beijing Olympics in February 2008 at the FINA World Cup when he was seventh in the men's individual 10m platform event.

2008 continued to be a good year for Tom Daley. In March 2008, still only 13-years-old, he won the European Men's 10m Platform Individual title, beating the current World Champion Gleb Galperin and World Cup Champion, Sascha Klein.

At 5ft 2in and 7st 7lb, Tom Daley was significantly younger, shorter and lighter than the competition.

Thomas Robert Daley

Thomas Robert Daley - (born 21 May 1994, Plymouth, England, United Kingdom is an English diver, who specialises in the 10 metre platform event and is currently the FINA World Champion.
He started diving at the age of seven, and is a member of Plymouth Diving Club.
He has made an impact in national and international competition at an early age.
He represented Great Britain at the 2008 Summer Olympics, where he was Britain's youngest competitor, the youngest competitor of any nationality outside the sport of swimming, and the youngest to participate in a final.
In the first post-Rome 2009 World Championships edition of the FINA World Diving Rankings for the ten-metre platform, he reached a new career best ranking of number one.
He resides at home in Plymouth with father Robert, mother Debbie and two brothers, William and Ben.
Tom's father, Robert, passed away peacefully on 27th May 2011 following a lengthy battle with a cancerous brain tumour.

Education

From age 11 to 14 Daley attended Eggbuckland Community College.
At 13 he became a celebrity supporter of ChildLine, a children's helpline run by the NSPCC, and at that time it was revealed that he had been bullied eighteen months earlier.
In April 2009 Daley alleged to Plymouth's main local newspaper The Herald that he had been regularly bullied at school since the Olympics,[43] and his father told the BBC that he had temporarily withdrawn him from Eggbuckland because its response to the problem had been ineffective.
Daley was praised in the media for speaking out about the problem.
Daley was promptly offered a full scholarship to board at independent school Brighton College, but his father turned this down due to the distance from home, and entered negotiations with local independent school Plymouth College, which had offered him a "very significant scholarship".
Plymouth College regularly offers swimming scholarships, and its ex-pupils include 2008 Olympic medallist Cassie Patten.[48] A few weeks later it was confirmed that Daley had enrolled at Plymouth College.
Daley took his GCSEs in small batches to fit round his diving commitments. He persuaded supermodel Kate Moss to pose for a recreation of an original portrait by David Hockney, as part of a GCSE photography project recreating great works of art, after meeting her on a photo shoot for the Italian version of Vogue.
Having obtained 2A and 5A* grades in his GCSEs, Daley has begun his two year A level courses in Maths, Spanish and Photography, having declined to undertake the International Baccalaureate course because of the parallel pressures and time necessary for his preparation for the 2012 Olympics.
